Community Health-in-Partnership Services (CHIPS) is a not-for-profit organization that provides healthcare and social services for the uninsured and underserved. At CHIPS, clients are defined not by their illness, but by their ability to attain wellness.

CHIPS’ clinical team, made up largely of volunteers, includes seven doctors, five dentists, one dental assistant, several nurses, health educators, community outreach workers, social workers, and complementary health specialists.

Ninety percent of the services CHIPS provides each year are not covered by any type of insurance. Service is provided to anyone who needs care without regard to means of payment.

CHIPS’ hallmark is its ability to design preventive health programs that meet the unique needs of an uninsured and underserved population utilizing a holistic approach.
